Give me a hard problem.
I’ll figure it out.
I get hired to do one thing, figure it out, then start fixing everything around it. That’s taken me from supply chains to ERP migrations to shipping production software.

The problem
The company was growing 4× and the supply chain had to be built around it.
What I did
Took over planning and purchasing across 30+ suppliers in East Asia and India — pricing, SLAs, international logistics, custom manufacturing — and built the tools to run it.
What changed
The function scaled with the business. I learned early that I’m comfortable being handed the unknown.
The problem
Repetitive contract admin, and plenty of data nobody could easily query.
What I did
Automated my own recurring work to buy back time, taught myself Cognos, and built the department’s first BI reporting suite.
What changed
People could answer questions from the data without rebuilding the analysis every time.
The problem
Manual, reactive planning sitting on systems that didn’t talk to each other.
What I did
Automated 60%+ of planning, built the analysis that exposed the inventory problem, then owned the NetSuite implementation end to end — including ~90% of the data migration.
What changed
Inventory on hand down ~50%. The systems modernization cut annual IT spend by roughly $5M.
The problem
Selling custom bikes online means compatibility, sourcing, pricing, and fulfillment all working at once — with a very small team.
What I did
Owned whatever needed owning: purchasing, pricing, merchandising, fulfillment, accounting, analytics, and the site itself.
What changed
A $2M/yr operation selling highly customized builds against live supplier inventory.
The problem
Quoting a custom bike was hours of manual checking, rebuilt from scratch if the customer actually bought.
What I did
Taught myself enough software to ship a visual configurator in four weeks, then kept going: compatibility logic, live distributor inventory, quoting, checkout, and the ops workflows behind them.
What changed
Quoting 90% faster, the category up 10×, $10K/mo of SaaS replaced — now licensing it to retailers hitting the same walls I did.

Off the clock
Bellingham, Washington.
I grew up in Durango and spent most of my life in Colorado before wandering around a bit. I lived in Hawaii for a while, spent a year in San Diego, and once took nine months to drive an old VW van from Denver to Alaska and back.
I eventually ended up in Bellingham, mostly because the mountain biking is hard to beat. Four years later, I’m still here and somehow bikes became my job.
When I’m not working, I’m usually riding, golfing, backpacking, messing around with the van, or finding somewhere interesting to go. Otherwise, I’m perfectly happy reading a book, playing cribbage, hanging out with my dog, or doing very little at all.
